We are extremely satisfied with our sectional couch, mid-century modern style. Custom building a couch with the firmness, colour, fabric and finish that we wanted to match our custom renovation was great. Communication with Jeff was fantastic as well. We get so many compliments!

This couch is the highlight of my apartment. It’s extremely comfortable, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. The colour is exactly what I wanted, it’s super vivid and rich, and the velvet is incredibly soft. The delivery was also very efficient. The couch was kindly brought up in my apartment, and super quickly unwrapped, no efforts needed on my part.
Out with neutrals, in with colour. Love my new multicolour rug, soft to walk on and the perfect size for my space. The coffee table is like a piece of art and also the perfect size, thanks to Jeff at Retro Modern, very fast delivery for in stock items.
This couch is amazing and so well built! Can’t find anything like this where I live! I’m so happy with my purchase!

I am very happy with our Soriana Sofa in Maya Bouclé. I purchased it almost three years ago and kept forgetting to write a review. It is super comfy and chic- we get compliments all the time. Jeff was very friendly and responsive throughout the process. It took a bit longer than 8-10 weeks to arrive (13 weeks) but it was worth it. It arrived in one piece and we couldn’t be happier with how it fits in our space.
Absolutely in love with this piece of furniture, it has a modern yet timeless feel. Everyone who comes over comments and asks where I bought it. The colour is beautiful and the quality of velvet is outstanding. My experience shopping at Retro Modern has been outstanding. I have now bought a number of pieces of furniture and thrilled with each piece. Jeff does not know the meaning of average the service that he provides has been exceptional and above and beyond. Five stars all around from the quality up furniture, the uniqueness, and the service provided.
This sofa is well crafted, the boucle is soft and uniform, the cushions are firm yet comfortable, and it overall feels sturdy. The four pillows that come with the couch add extra comfort in case you need more support since the seat back is a bit straight. Just note that the standard delivery service won’t carry the shipment up to your apt—so be prepared to have extra hands to move the couch where you want it. Otherwise, we are happy with our purchase and would recommend.
We got this sofa made in the bright orange colour and it turned out exactly how we wanted! We love love love our couch! It fits right in to our space :) Purchase was easy and it was shipped on time. Thank you so much!
My Boba is absolutely gorgeous and so comfy!! The support is great, firm in the best way but super comfy. I love the look. Curbside delivery is a little annoying but overall great experience buying from Retromodern!!

The couch of my dreams! Customer service like I’ve never experienced - so attentive, helped me select the fabric by showing me multiple photos and videos to help me make my choice. Answered all of my questions about delivery and leading up to it. Delivery was seamless and most importantly, the final product is *stunning*! Do yourself a favour and definitely buy from this company - you won’t regret it!

Super happy customer, the delivery was fast(<24h in stock item), he did all the unpacking/assembly and even took the boxes away. The quality/fabric is exactly what I expected.
The chairs are gorgeous! The natural is a natural shade without a yellow cast, and the wood grain is so pretty. Delivery was fast and easy :) always nice to support local retail.
This was a smooth process right from the beginning. I bought online, they contacted me about local delivery not long after. The chairs arrived ahead of schedule, the condition was mint on all. I approve!
My chair is better than expected ,soft and cozy. In spite of the flooding in BC it arrived in a timely fashion. I would recommend Retro Designs without hesitation.

We love these couches, they look great and are comfortable. We customized so they fit in our room perfectly. The communication was very responsive, Jeff was easy to work worh. I would definitely use Jeff again for a future need!

The product was really well packaged and is great to use. I missed parts of the product initially, not all online purchases are without hiccups but the seller was available and very reactive to address any issue.

Gorgeous chairs including quality of the leather. However, the chairs were much smaller than I expected. I cannot use them for the intended purpose. I have located them in an office that has a black leather executive chair at the desk. The smaller leather chairs will be client chairs.
These chairs are gorgeous. They're comfy and feel sturdy. We'll see how they hold up.

Beautiful coffee table! I love this store and the guys are awesome. The only bad thing about this coffee table is that I get paranoid when my boisterous nephews are visiting that they might break it and I'll cry!
