We can proudly say that our quality standards are exceptional and that our pieces are made with care and attention. Our custom orders take 12 weeks to produce and be delivered to your door.

DELIVERY

At Retro Modern Home our top priority is customer satisfaction and we truly are committed to working with our shipping and delivery partners to uphold our shipping standards. There can be, however, unexpected delivery interruptions that can cause delays. When such an event occurs our team is here and ready to support. We kindly ask that upon arrival of your package that you inspect it and document any damages. If this is, unfortunately, the case then please reach out to us at retromoderndesigns@gmail.com with your order number and we will gladly assist you.

TIMELINES: Once your delivery is received at our Vancouver warehouse, you will be notified with an email and tracking number from our partner day & Ross and can expect your package be delivered within 5-7 business days.

RATES:

    • $299 for curb-side delivery 
    • your order will be delivered to your curb and you will need to bring it inside and dispose of the box and wrapping. Please make sure to have some extra hands available to help getting the boxes into your home. The deliver drivers are only responsible for getting the pieces into your building or to your front door.
    • If you require assistance with having the items brought into your home please contact us and we can attempt to accommodate this request, Additional charges may apply and not available in every city
    • Some items may have free shipping or reduced shipping, All shipping rates will be calculated when you add items in your cart.

    What to Expect on Delivery Day

    Our furniture is substantial, and many pieces arrive in large, oversized boxes. Because protecting your furniture during transportation is extremely important to us, every item is carefully packaged using high-quality, reinforced boxes with protective edges and secure wrapping to help ensure it arrives safely and in excellent condition.

    The photo above is an example of how your furniture may look when it arrives on delivery day. Depending on your order, you may receive one or several large boxes.

    Delivery to Your Home

    Our standard delivery service is threshold delivery. The delivery team will bring your order as close as reasonably possible to the entrance of your home, building, or designated delivery location.

    Please note that standard delivery does not include bringing furniture inside your home, carrying items up stairs or elevators, unpacking, assembly, placement, or removal of packaging materials.

    Once your order has been delivered to the designated threshold, you will be responsible for moving the furniture inside.

    Please Plan Ahead

    When you receive notice of your scheduled delivery date, we strongly recommend arranging for friends, family members, or additional help to be available—especially for sofas, sectionals, tables, and other large or heavy pieces.

    Before delivery day, please make sure that doorways, hallways, elevators, stairways, and other access points are large enough to accommodate your furniture and its packaging.

    Once your furniture is safely inside, carefully remove the protective packaging and enjoy your new piece from Retro Modern Designs.

    A little preparation before delivery day will help make receiving your new furniture a smooth and enjoyable experience.

     

     

    *Damage Disclaimer*
    We ask that you please check your package/parcel for damages upon receipt. In order to be certain there are no damages, we encourage that you open your package while the delivery driver is still on location. If you do see damages then it is critical that you take a photo of the damaged box and item and then report the damage on the Bill of Lading or to reject the shipment completely depending on the amount of damage. If this occurs, please contact us immediately at retromoderndesigns@gmail.com and we will assist you. However, if the above actions were not taken then we will not be responsible for any damages.
